Project Red Alert

The sucess of the eight8eight was admittedly tainted by supply problems with the small bearing eight8eight and YoYoFactory apologises sincerely for this. Still the eight8eight has been widely acclaimed one of the Projects finest results.

 

G5

 

Custom (minimum 50 pieces) original G5s will be available AUGUST.  Orders are now being taken.

 

 

 

An all new Project Red Alert concept is in development for the holiday season and the G5 and eight8eight have moved into the new YoYoFactory Premium Collection. So currently there is nothing new here!

The G5 concept has been taken to new levels with the G5+. The unique stepped profile of the G5 has been spaced wider apart for increased grind times while maintaining the extreme rim weighting of earlier G5s. G5+ also offers increased strength and precision in manufacturing, all new graphics and Born Crucial silicone GHOST PADS for response. Designed to suit more of a 'tricks' player than a 'freestyler' the G5+ offers advanced players the finest yo-yoing experience available.

Contests

YoYoFactory Contest Team are out to put up a good showing at the coming major contests in the USA. At BAC there was a 1st and 3rd on the eight8eighth at their 1st event. Expect more!

 

Augie Fash is WARPED

YoYoFactory Contest Team member and 2004 USA National Champion Augie Fash will be travelling on the 2007 'Warped Tour' with THE BROTHERS GRIM SIDESHOWS. Before he goes he attended BLC and also appearing at the Sunshine Kites contest at Redondo Peir the following day. The only events he will miss on the tour will be for the 2007 World Yo-Yo Contest.

 

Video/Online

A YoYoFactory Contest Team video is due to begin production late JULY for a late AUGUST release. It will feature players from 5 countries in events, during travels, promotions, contests and just playing it up.
